Consumer Food Waste Webinar Series: USDA Food Loss and Waste Grants Updates

Join us as we feature two experts in consumer food waste research. Dr. Brian Roe and Dr. Brenna Ellison were awarded USDA Food Loss and Waste grants in 2024. During this webinar, they will be sharing updates on their progress. Dr. Roe will present an overview of the pilot food waste reduction campaign administered in Columbus, Ohio, and share some initial assessment of the campaign’s impact on residential food waste behaviors. Dr. Ellison will share what’s going on at the Center for Food Conservation and Waste Reduction, including updates on the launch of the Center’s new website and resource library, 2025 Food Conservation Challenge, and the Food Conservation Specialist program.
