Functional Foods: Coffee Program
Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) will present the program, Functional Foods: Coffee, at the Ocean City Public Library from 6:30 to 7:30pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. This in-person presentation is sponsored by the Ocean City Public Library, 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City, NJ.
Anneliese Kuemmerle, MS, RDN, FCHS Program Associate II for Cape May County, will teach the program. The class will increase participants’ knowledge about coffee including plant origin and historical, processing, and preparation of coffee. It will introduce participants to the current research and health benefits of coffee and identify the recommendations for including coffee in a healthful plant-based diet.
