Per NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations, those seeking a Level 1 “T” (drinking water treatment) or “W” (drinking water distribution system) license must successfully complete an approved “Introduction to Water” course. This 90-hour course is designed to familiarize attendees with the skills required for employment as a drinking water treatment or distribution system operator and to introduce them to the various equipment and processes routinely used in these facilities such as pumps, valves, tanks, filters, compressors, blowers, chemical feed systems, etc.

Dates: January 11 – April 28, 2027 (26 Monday and Wednesday evenings online + 2 in-person facility site visits and required in-person final exam in New Brunswick, NJ)
