Introduction to Home Composting

Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources will host the workshop, “Introduction to Home Composting,” on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 6pm to 7pm at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Courthouse – South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

The presenter will be Jen Sawyer Caraballo, ANR Program Associate II, Cape May County, RCE. Participants will learn the benefits of composting at home, common misconceptions in composting, essential elements in the composting process, and what to compost and what not to compost. Also, each attendee will take home a compost/soil thermometer.
