Mycology is Better Than “Your-cology”

Terrible jokes are a hallmark of the field of mycology which is the study of fungi.  While mycologists may have a quirky sense of humor, the organisms that study are among the most diverse and impactful living things on the planet.  This class will explore what fungi are, their importance to the home gardener and their impact on humans on a broader scale.  So grab a beer (a product of fungi) and a sandwich (bread is too), a bad joke book (if you are a Fun Guy!) and join this class to learn about these amazing and mysterious organisms.

SPEAKER:  Ruth Carll, State Leader, Consumer Horticulture

COST:  $20
