Organic Turfgrass Management

Any successful organic turf management program must rely on sound, science-based turfgrass management principles and practices. This half-day program, led by Dr. James Murphy, Extension Specialist in Turf Management, and Bradley S. Park, Sports Turf Education and Research Coordinator, will introduce you to the science underlying a proper long-term organic turf program. Topics include: soil health management, selecting the proper plant species, pest management strategies without synthetic pesticides, and organic turf care in practice.
