Twilight Meeting for South Jersey farmers at Rea's Farm
Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County will host an October Twilight Meeting for South Jersey farmers on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5pm to 7:30pm at Rea’s Farm Market, 400 Stevens Street, West Cape May, NJ 08204.
This informative session will include the following presentations: Using Data to Drive Sales presented by Claudia Gil Arroyo, Cape May County Agent III, IPM: Identifying Thrips & Tomato Spotted Wilted Virus with Maria Cramer, Senior Program Coordinator Vegetable IPM; Rutgers NJAES, IPM Program Implementation in Ornamental Crops with Timothy Waller, Cumberland County Agent III, Nursery; Rutgers NJAES, and What I’ve learned about blueberry growing over the past 40 years presented by Gary Pavlis, Atlantic County CEDH and County Agent II; Rutgers NJAES.
Claudia Gil Arroyo, Cape May County Agricultural Agent said, “We are excited to bring these expert speakers to Cape May County, and we thank Rea’s Farm Market for hosting this event that will provide local farmers from South Jersey with much needed information right here in our community.”
Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station faculty and staff assist commercial farms with information, field research and consultation on various issues related to agriculture, the environment, natural resources management, and integrated pest management.
In addition to the speakers, pesticide recertification credits will be awarded for: 1A (2 units), 3A (1 unit), 10 (3 units) and PP2 (3 units).
