Martina Lavender

Martina is the part-time Rutgers Master Gardener Program Coordinator in Union County. Martina earned her B.S. from Rutgers University’s School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, with a double-major in Agriculture & Food Systems and Production Animal Science, with minors in Plant Biology and Business & Environmental Economics. She brings a strong focus on urban gardening, sustainable farming, and community education to the position. Martina is currently in the New Jersey Agricultural Leadership Development Program's newest cohort, Class XIII. She has hands-on experience in integrated pest management, livestock care, floral and crop production, and agricultural research, and was a seasonal employee in the our Rutgers IPM program.
