There are many popular theme garden ideas popping up on social media.  However, while creating a theme garden sounds easy, it takes planning to really shine.  In this 4-session course, we will discuss basic planning principles for designing and planting a new landscape area and then explore a number of themes for potential installation.  We will learn about a few common themes, such as native gardens and pollinator gardens as well as some more unusual thematic plantings.  At the first session, you can even ask for a special topic and, if possible, we will add it to the menu of themes.

SPEAKER:  Ruth Carll, State Leader, Consumer Horticulture, County Agent III
