What a Wonderful World: An environmental jukebox for New Jersey

11/3 – Blinded by the Light: Light Pollution– Stephen Mariconda, MPH, DarkSky New Jersey – Light pollution disrupts ecosystems, obscures the night sky, and harms human health. Learn how to reverse light pollution through responsible lighting practices and how to advocate for policies that reduce light pollution in New Jersey and beyond. Presented by Steve Mariconda, MPH, a DarkSky International Delegate who educates about light pollution and its environmental impact in New Jersey.

Starting October 20, the Earth Day Every Day webinar series is back. Protecting the environment of New Jersey is music to our ears! Experts hit the right notes on topics such as wetland ecology, light pollution, impacts on tree leaf color, and hurricane science. This series aims to raise awareness about some of the Garden State’s environmental challenges and ways you can change your tune to help improve environmental quality. This webinar series is conducted in collaboration with the Marine Extension Program Seminar Series (MEPSS).
