This four-session series introduces participants to the fundamentals of home composting, from understanding decomposition to choosing the right system for their space and lifestyle. We’ll explore both indoor and outdoor methods—including worm bins, bokashi, and traditional backyard piles—so learners can confidently select and manage the approach that fits their needs. Each class builds practical skills in material selection, troubleshooting, and maintaining a healthy, efficient composting process. By the end of the series, participants will understand how to turn household and garden waste into nutrient rich compost that supports soil health, reduces landfill contributions, and strengthens sustainable gardening practices.
