Pesto Pasta with Sausage

Ingredients
- ¼ lb. sausage removed from casings
- 1 red pepper cut into 2” pieces
- 1 onion, sliced thick
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 8 oz. bow tie pasta (or pasta of your choice)
- ¼ Mixed Herb Pesto (see our recipe and video on this)
- ½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Sprinkle of salt & pepper
Preparation Steps
- Place 3 quarts water in stockpot, add 1 Tablespoon salt if desired, bring to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Brown sausage in skillet with 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil over medium heat. Add peppers, onions & garlic then saute 8 minutes on medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian Seasoning (or seasonings of your choice).
- Add cooked pasta and pesto to the skillet.
